Hello Rob...
What can you say about ROB LUYANDO!!! Rob you're a gentleman and one of the greatest ever. To lift the way you did with the SUPERMAX for POWER REPS was unbelievable. 850X2 in the MX2 heavyweight division matched what the bigger guys were lifting. You always amaze.
Thank you for the meet report from your perspective.

: Well first off the Venue was kick ass! Tons
: of fitness models walking around and a crowd
: that kept growing. Warm up room had plenty
: of weight and benches for the lifters to get
: warmed up properly. The meet kicked off on
: time and moved smoothly with no unecessary
: delays. A lot of time and effort was put
: into running this meet and I felt it was a
: great success once the bars started moving.
: This was probably the most fun I have had at
: a meet in a long time. All the lifters were
: cool and suportive towards each other.
: Don't get me wrong we were all there for the
: same reason and that was to win. All egos
: and hard feeling were put to the side and we
: all did our best to put a freak show on for
: the crowd. I opened up with 800 as planned
: and pretty much hit to reps with ease.
: Jumped to 850 to tie Mendy who was in the
: Big Fat benchers division and hit my first
: rep easy and then had a brain fart on my
: second rep and has to grind out of my
: technique mistake. I got two reps but the
: second one took a lot out of me. I was
: impressed with a lot of the lifting that
: took place. Jason Coker stole the show in
: my opinion in his feirce battle with Jessie
: Kellum that was second only to the war that
: Coker went to with Brad Heck at the Arnold
: in 2007. I am definately pumped for the
: Olympia and will make a few modifications to
: my training so I am better prepared. Thanks
: to John Inzer and everyone else involved
: with putting this meet together.
