Hope this message finds you all well, especially after the cold over the past couple of days.
The show dates have been set and booked for this year.
As previously announced the Spring show will be held once again in St. Jacobs, at the Community Center, on April 6/19.
This is the same date as the Elmira Maple Syrup festival show we are hoping for a superb turnout. We will be bringing back an award for BEST DISPLAY, and this will be Judged by the public. As well there will be silent auctions and also live auctions. Table bookings have been going well, and to avoid dissappointment I suggest you book soon.
This year the show times will be from 9 AM sharp until 3 PM for anyone returning from the Syrup festival. NOW, to be clear the doors will not open prior to 9 AM except for vendors. This is to allow proper set-up for vendors.
The much anticipated Fall show date has been set as Sept.21/19. This will be held at the Evinrude Center in Peterborough. As well we will be celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Lucky Strike Baitworks. This will be a tremendous opportunity to bring out the best of the best of Lucky Strike Collections. There are only a limited amount of tables, so if you want to be there this is your chance.
On another note, the current CAFTA website will temporarily be shut down for renovations. We will updating with a modern, interactive platform that should help the club in many ways.
As well we will be conducting a membership drive over the next few months, so if are considering becoming, renewing, or wish to inquire about membership please fell free to contact any one of your directors.
I trust everyone will be happy with the show dates for 2019, but if you have concerns or wish to discuss them please contact me personally at email@example.com.
