Recently I read where the Muskoka Lakes Museum was going to have a sports display.I contacted the curator and asked if he could use some vintage fishing displays.Excited he agreed.Then the local paper added this article.A bonus.
I helped them out and they allowed me to leave my cards and some CAFTA show flyers and information at the museum for the next month.
Maybe I'll get a lead,maybe I won't but helping out is the satisfaction.Contact your local museums and and ask if they would be interested in such an event.
Smith Falls museum display has been amazing for me as the local papers done 3 articles and I have saw alot of tackle this summer.Even last saturday 6 tackle boxes of the stuff.One gent handed me a nice HEX carded item I never saw before.He said here add it to that display.Thanks for helping me out he added.He had some nice items from his family.Article link below:
