I was very careful to make certain this would be a Ellis/Hex transition box.Most of you allready know that Hector bought Ellis&Sons out and also the Ellis went to work for Hex Baits.As you can see that this era of box and catalin pikie would be found in the same time period.The early stages of Hex Baits plastic.This particular box had a paste lable pasted under Made By on one side of the box.Also this is a definite HEX Baits code PX and TSM(check your lure insert paperwork).Although in later years TSM was for red stripe.On this box it was for this bait.My guess PX is for Pikie Plastic.The box came out of collection and was in this gents collection for many years.The box and catalin pikie were found together.The label was also on box when originally found.A very nice combo and happy to share the info.The insert for the box was also folded and made to fit,then stamped.
