Thought I'd say Hi to you all. Not from the NW but thought I'd stop by. Those photos are very encouraging! Especially considering the lows that you experienced. Thought I'd share some of my plant photos. Lowest low this year has been -10F so far in my neck of the woods.
Shot below is how everything looked going into the "big cold spell" (no added heat, just tarps and snow)
Shot below is the uncovering of the Trachycarpus after 8 days of subfreezing and lows of -2F and -10F
Shot below is Trachycarpus a little closer (has bed head and some leaf damage)
Other unusual plants for this area (dollar for scale)
Hardy Gardenia (unknown variety)
Agave deserti below
Will check to see how the Phormium, Ficus, Cycas did once spring rolls around. Hope I posted these photos properly!
