Our pitcher got hit during the Tarheel Classic, and has played through the pain, but he can't work, so he is now having season ending surgery on his ankle.
We need a lock-down defensive pitcher with a good stick. You don't have to be able to throw junk, as you will have the top defense in the state behind you, you just need to throw strikes, catch the ones hit back at you, and cover the bases when the other defenders need to play a little deeper than normal.
We play a mix of SSAA and U-Trip. We have won the last 5 E tournaments we have entered, so this isn't a BS team.
Need to be able to commit to at least two weekends a month, plus whichever weekends are required by U-Trip in order to play in the Worlds in September. We already have a paid berth, and we are definately going.
