Good Friend
Folks, Tom York, who is known as Ty here, is back in the hospital at the Duke University Medical Center tonight. He took a turn for the worse early this morning, and his mother took him to the hospital in Charlotte. Charlotte sent him to Duke. I'm going to be leaving for Durham tomorrow afternoon and will help his mom to stay with him. Right now, he's just going to have tests, but they need to find out just what's going on. Tom is a very sick young man. Johnny and Jimmy already know about this, but I wanted to post it publicly here so that anyone else who reads this who might know and remember Ty in your prayers.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I'm going to have an early dinner tomorrow and head toward North Carolina. I haven't known Ty all that long, but he's become like a little brother to me, since JC introduced me to him via email a few months ago. I've met him and his mother personally, and I ask all who read this to remember Tom and his family in your prayers.
I don't know if Ty will be able to get online much, but his e-mail address is tomyork98@yahoo.com if you would like to try to talk to him. His laptop is with him, but I don't know if he'll get to use it much.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I hope you will remember Tom in his quest to recover from this medical problem.
