All of your support has meant a lot to my family and me over the last few days. Butler, your support for Ginny and her family over the last couple of days has been incredible. Jim, thanks for being there to lean on as well. Ginny mentioned both of you with fondness after we got home last night. Ty, thank you so much for your prayers and very kind thoughts. Ginny read them and told me to thank you.
It is in tough times like she's just been through that you learn who your true friends in life are, and Ginny says she was amazed at how much support she's received from people she hardly even knew, until now.
I just want you all to know that Ginny and I appreciate your help very much.
Sorry for not being around for the board, and I'm glad you all understand. I hoe we get it back to normal in the next few days. I had a new battle cry for those of us who happen to be Earnhardt fans here, and I think that includes all of us to some degree. My new battle cry is 'Viva Earnhardt', or abbreviated as VE. For Jim and me, that abbreviation problem has special meaning since both of our fathers were in Europe when we won the war, on what was known as VE day, or Victory in Europe day. Now we can give the term new meaning. Maybe whenever Earnhardt wins races or the championship, we can designate those days VE days. I hope this doesn't sound to corny, but if it does, excuse me, because my brain's been pretty frazzled lately.
Once again, thank you, all of you. Your support means a lot.
