An interesting time signature, too - 9/8! You don't get that on many pop records.
In 'Rock, You Sinners' Jimmy is playing his white Grimshaw. He still had it when he joined Lonnie but soon upgraded to his famous sunburst Gibson ES-175. I expect his wages got better!
I loved his playing. Listen, too, to 'Nobody Loves Like an Irishman'; great tone, great solo. He wasn't as good as his predecessor Denny Wright but was streets ahead of his replacement (Les Bennetts) in terms of tone and taste. That's my opinion, anyway.
