The 'Fan Star Library' is reproduced in a sort of spreadsheet format and we see a photo of LD leaving for a show - his Daimler can clearly be seen parked outside his house but the Humber Imperial in which he's about to be whisked away is a limousine service car, not Donegan's.
The other car we see him taking delivery of is his Riley 2.6 Pathfinder (UDF 750). A nice moderate luxury car of the day but not in the same league as his Daimler or the Aston Martin/Lagonda coupes he had owned. The Riley would have been a more practical vehicle for day-to-day running and very similar to the Metropolitan Police car of that time, the Wolseley 6/90 (both BMC products using the same body-shell).
