How many here actually have it and, if you do, what do you think of it?
I hear rumours that its compiler (Paul Pelletier) had problems dealing with Lonnie; if that's true, then I suppose I should excuse the occasional carelessness within the text of the book. I'd hoped for a far more complete biography, and too much space is taken up by reproductions of existing documents (song-copy covers, the 'Fan's Star Library' booklet included - page-by-page).
Full marks, though, for the diligence in collecting so many hitherto-unavailable gems within the actual CDs. Even 'though I'm truly thankful that the final released version of 'Nobody's Child' was the guitar-accompanied one (Lonnie and Denny Wright), it's still interesting to hear the earlier one with Lonnie's banjo!
Well done, Carl Jones, for finding 'Light Fingers', too!!!
Anyone else appraised this collection?
