Yes - the modern-looking home in Harry Hammond's photograph is the house that LD had built in 'Woodford', and is actually on Broadwalk, E18 and situated at the eastern end on the north side of the road. Check it out on Google Maps ('Street Level'); the trees are a bit more luxuriant today, but the house - clearly recognisable - stands out from the surrounding ones which are more conventional 'stockbroker belt' residencies built, I'd say, in the '30s.
