When we played Vegas in 69, Pete Hugget and I drove back trough the desert to LA (about 400 miles). On the way we saw a sign that read Calico Ghost Town. So Pete turned down this real old dusty road until we came to the town. It was an old mining town and looked like it had just come out of a Hollywood western. It was fabulous, but one of the scary things was, outside the Sheriff's office, in the dusty street was a grave and on the head stone it said. Here lies the body of (can't remember the name) "Have a drink on me".
I managed to get some super 8 footage of Huggett standing by the headstone.
Just a thought!
Mark
