I would just like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you that have replied on this forum. On behalf of John, many many thanks
Dad done a lot of background music for BBC documentries in the 50's he was also involved with Pete and Peggy Segar and made a few albums with Alan Lomax and Ewan McColl. One I do recall was "The Ballard of John Hasty"(unsure of the spelling).
I will see if I can get Dad to tell me more when I next see him.

Due to my Mothers health, we had to move out of London in 1960 and that realy put paid to Dad making any more recordings but as I said before, he plays everyday and has put his own recordings on tape for both me and my 2 brothers.
