Hi Peter,
Yes, your father played harmonica on the 1958 LP called "Lonnie", released on Nixa NPT 19027.
In Lonnie's sleeve-notes on the back of the album cover he writes:
"On two other numbers we had the able assistance of John Cole on harmonica."
In fact, he can be heard on three numbers -- "Long Summer Day", "Ain't No More Cane on the Brazos" and "Lazy John".
