I LOVED Johnny Duncan singing 'Doin' My Time' - if there was ever a moment when anyone challenged Lonnie as a singer of this type of material, this was it!
Lon's EP was: Rock Island Line, John Henry, Diggin' My Potatoes, and Bury My Body (Decca DFE 6345).
I don't have the number of the Chris Barber Skiffle Group EP, but it contained:
Doin' My Time, Gypsy Davy, Can't You Line 'em?, and Where Could I go (but to the Lord?)
Doin' My Time and Can't You Line 'em are the two best non-Donegan skiffle recordings (in my humble opinion...)
