I know this was another thread, but I couldn't let the moment pass without adding my welcome to Pete Appleby!!!
He was, indeed, a part of the 'Golden Era' of Our Hero's stellar career, and I still have my copy of 'Lonnie Rides Again' - signed by Lonnie, Les and Pete at the stage door of the Royal Aquarium, Gt Yarmouth in 1960.
I hope, Pete, that you can be tempted back, and that you'll share some of your memories with us.
