A looong time has passed since you and I have run into each other, Mr. Creasy, but I have many fond memories of watching you and your dad fight the good fight over in the NHRA. I was in Gainesville the weekend we found out you had lost your sister and you showed a lot of courage and determination dealing with that tragedy. I think it was then I realized what a tough little bastard you are. Broken legs? Just a minor inconvenience to someone like you who doesn't let anything stand in your way. I don't get to many NHRA races anymore. Lots of new adventures covering other automtoive and racing events for a couple of different networks so that keeps me pretty busy. I miss those old days when the sport seemed a bit more rational--at least in the NHRA--and guys like you could afford to take your best shots against the "big teams" and take them down every now and then. I think it's great you've become a champion in the IHRA and it's no surprise to me. You and your family are quite a bunch and are out there racing for all the right reasons. You'll be back after this latest mishap is well behind you. I hope to see you out there somewhere down the road. Peace and love, ol' friend.
