Peanut,
It took awhile for the seriousness of your accident to filter back to the media center Sunday - at first we just though the car had stopped short and was locked up because from the outside, everything looked almost normal, except for the early shutdown. Little did we know that you were the victim of a driveline failure.
Once we found out, it was kind of quiet in there. We just lost one champion in a once-in-a-blue-moon accident and now another champion was fighting severe injuries. It seemed like forever before the chopper got there, and even longer before it lifted off, but it must have seemed even longer to you.
I'll be praying for your recovery until I see your smiling face once again - then I'll feel a lot better, knowing that you have won another hard battle and are still a champion.
Until then, my thoughts are with you.
