The Delco East Modified League is looking for new teams for the 2010 season. The league plays the "hitter friendly" 10 man version of modified and strictly enforces the 10 man pitching rule (most of the pitching you see in the Daily Times tournament is the more dominant 9 man or "slingshot" pitching).
The Delco East league plays early and late games Monday thru Wednesday evenings at the 69th St recreation area in Upper Darby. New teams are welcome to secure permits for a home field on which they would play half of their games.
In addition to teams, the league is also looking for individual players to join with a small group of players hoping to form their own team.
