It’s an all around detector. It’s means you will be able to familiarized yourself with all the aspects of metal detecting, from coinshooting to relic hunting. 3 different coil sizes are included. So you have a lot off flexibility to hunt from famer’s field to highly junk polluted parks. When my son and I hunt together, often he passes over a target I’ve just detected. Most of the time, the Land Ranger can see what me Tesoro Tejon see. It’s not the top quality metal detector, but it’s not the entry level for sure. In my opinion, it’s a very good starter. And remember, your succes in metal detecting depends on: 33% your skills, 33% the site you hunt and 33% your detector.
