Here's how it's going down so far. Tony McCallum spent Tue. at the kennel and at least two dog owners left at the end of the day telling me they were changing everything they had ever thought about raising and training their dogs!
Wed, yesterday, Thomas Ravn and Christian Jorgenson arrived from Copenhagen, Denmark and the dog training was ON. Takai Maki from Tokyo, Japan Got here to learn about PP dog training and anything else DOG.
She has a strong interest in Mondio Ring and never knew when she got to Texas she would have a world champion Mondio Ring competitor in Thomas Ravn take her under his wing and spend an entire day teaching her all the tricks of a Mondio decoy.
Christian (decoy Danish Air Force) had his first ever encounter with a wolf hybrid trained in PP work, and the wolf did not disappoint. And I should add neither did decoy Christian!
Patsy Waldrop is kinda proud of her little 100+ pound wolf and his fighting style, but she had never seen the Combat style of decoy work that Christian dishes out to the dogs in the Danish military that are training for combat deployment.
Christian put it on that wolf/dog as thick as I have ever seen pressure put on any dog, and Luger took it all in and threw it right back, it was quite a combat scene between the man and the wolf/dog!
Well now we're getting ready for the big weekend, lots of airport trips and pick up today, tomorrow, Friday, Tony McCallum's seminar, then the intro to PP training for any one with a dog they want to start in K9 Martial Arts.
Don't know if I'll have time for anymore updates before the big show Saturday, but I'll try my best, photos and more still to come.
