I am always trying to talk about the very different skills needed in decoy work for a PP dog, compared to what is the accepted way of doing things in most dog-bite venues. When I look around the great www I see all sorts of people that claim to be PP trainers sayi9ng they do something different in training as well. But when I ask them to tell us what they do differently I get _____________ a blank.
So in an effort to stimulate some useful conversation I'm going to my new favorite video of all time. You know which one. The Manly-man decoy, that was bit by the dog he was trying to correct with a punch.
You know the one.http://shkola-orlova.ru/view/55525f3e6598296f26635a45ff8925b0.xhtml
As I said, when I first posted the link, there is a wealth of education to be had here, and I meant that. This is lesson one. This decoy is showing you how to develop a dogs fighting skills (not on purpose of course) He is not doing what would he would if he had a sleeve or suit on, But! He is doing what should be done in the first step to teaching the dog to Create pressure instead of Taking pressure.
What is it?
Go ahead you know.... Come on, go ahead, you can do this!!!!
We're waiting?
