AS I said when I first posted this video it was not to Yuk it up on the decoy (although he deserves a LOT of yukking) it was because most here will never see a live bite, and this was your chance to learn about PP from a live bite.
As no one has ventured into that territory, and it has just sort of died I am going to bring it back up and see if we can learn a little.
First let me say that I have an advantage in analyzing this video because I do know, and have worked personally with the man that got bit, so I have a little inside info. Now on with the lessons.
It has become an American bite work rule that if you invent a Tuff dog sport for a PP dog, you have to "bring heat!" To find the good dogs you must see if the dog can "Take the Pressure!" Only in America, but we all know this is the Cadillac standard, Taking Pressure.
When the people that helped me invent K9 PRO SPORTS, Police, Military and Security trainers, discussed the 'Fight' aspect, we talked about how to evaluate the fight. Pressuring the dog was never brought up. These very street wise men never mentioned that the dog should be "taking pressure", they only had points on the score card for how much pressure the dog dished OUT!
So here we have a person that has been catching dogs for several years. In a suit or sleeve. He is also a believer in seeing if the dog can "take the heat" he learned that in America at PSA trials
He was proud that he could "Run a dog". He had taken dogs in training, once on the sleeve, and slammed them against a building wall, threw them to the ground, etc. When he became a PSA decoy they showed him how to run at the dog, in a courage test, and keep running into and over the dog when he jumped for the armpit bite.
If a man all dressed up in padded equipment could study and learn how to stop a dog
from biting him by "Bringing Heat" it is the decoy in this video.
Only that mythical Meth head that caused this whole "take the pressure" way of doing Tuff dog trials in America, could be better prepared than this decoy. at this moment, to "BRING HEAT"
So my question is; In real life, even with very experienced decoys, who takes the pressure in a real life bite?
In case you forgot the video is below.
