He has a great dog. Kind of dog that I like to catch. How closed ,the dog was to Mr. Cappel, is not the point. The pit went for a ball big time. So Okye knows he has to fix that. May be his decoy can whip his ass when the dog chase the ball in middle of aggitation. I don't know
In Protection, Okye asked me to lock-up my arm, so he can "Out" the dog. Which put me in a situation that I didn't want to be in. You can't ask bad guy to lock-up his bloody arm so dog can be "Out". So I wasn't able to help him there. I felt bad because I liked the dog. It wouldn't help him much anyway. The pit was in very high fighting mode. He wasn't going to let me go. The dog is tough. Very good dog that couldn't be back-down. So Okye know he has to work on "out" when the dog is in high defensive drive.
Okye works his dog to Schutzhund 2 title. So I am sure he has what it takes to fix these minor problems. When he does, he will be the very few with a Schutzhund dog that is also protection dog.
At the end, I think this is what "K9 pro Sport" is about. Find out where your team is, and train for better.
