Hello. My Name Is Ashton, I Am A Grandaughter Of Patsy.
I Have Read Over The Subject Of Luger, The Wolf-Hybrid.
This Dog-Yes-Is A Wolf. Yet, He Is A German Shepard. Both Breeds Are Highly Inteligent. And Luger(in my opinion), Is A Very Smart Animal. My Grandmother Rescued Him From A Shelter, Who Did Kill Their Dogs When They Needed To Make Room, Or Simply Had A Dog To Long. This Dog Was Just A Pup When She Saved Him. When She Brought Him Home He Was Shy. But Sweet As A Peach All The Same. After A Few Days She Introduced Me, And My Younger Brother And Sister To Him. He Did Well With Us All.
Back To My Point.
As I Was Reading The Thread That Lead To The Subject Of Luger, I Came Across A Few People Who Weren't Exactly Correct When It Came To Training This Dog. They Weren't Very Pleasant. This Bothered Me. I Decided That I Wanted To Put In My Input.
When Luger Started The Training, He Was A Bit Scared. He Didnt Know Much Of What Was Going On, But He Did Keep A Watchful Eye. The Trainer Poked Around And Soon Luger Learned That He Didnt Appriecate This. Real Quick Luger Went To Action And Showed The Trainer What He Was Made Of. Yet, Going Home And Putting Him Back In The Yard Where He Belongs...He Was A Sweetheart To The Family. He Allowed Us To Pet And Kiss Him. But As Time Progressed He Learned More. Again, YES, Luger Is A Big Dog. But He LOVES To Learn. He's A Very Smart Dog.
And To The People Who Gave My Grandmother Comments About This Dog:
She Is Not Trash.
She Trains Her Dogs For Protection. Not For Violence. She Has No Dream Catchers Or Jewelry Of This Certain Color. My Grandmother Is Smart, And She Knows Very Well What She Is Doing, And What Luger Is Capable Of.
Yes, Luger Is Not Just A Hybrid. But A Smart Hybrid.
(To Whom It May Concern, This Is My Opinion On The Matter).
