It is official the Stafford Va. trial next Sept 25 will be the official Biggest Big Dog trial of the year. Hosted by Dream Team kennel a very high quality working Cane Corso breeder you know you will see some of these big dogs taking ring center.
It is now confirmed the reigning big dog of the Big Dog world Luger, will be making the trip from Texas to Va. I have always been proud that as a true Protection Certification System K9PS cannot become breed specific or breed dominated.
Whether it was Frisko, Carsten Skals Dogue de Bordeaux, or the Min-Pin from our 1996 show in El Paso, all breeds of dogs that are able to work with their partner, and are willing to step up in times of danger can demonstrate their skills and get a fair evaluation at K9 PRO SPORTS trials.
This Va. trial may be a little special for the big dogs though. For the first time, that I can find anyway, we will have a Timber Wolf hybrid in this trial. I am just not sure if anyone has ever trained a Wolf to a Protection dog level?
Luger is a tall 34-36 inches, silver beast you can feel every rib on and he still hits the scale at a very lean 110. And the only thing bigger than that Timber Wolf body are those grinners he'll be showing off to some lucky decoy that day.
So those of you at the Va. show will get to see another K9PS first. Whether you are there to compete or come to watch and enjoy remember when you see that big silver dog, walking to the ring stepping over the Cane Corso's and Fila's it's time for Little Red Riding Hood to wait outside cause Luger the Wolf dog is about to strut his stuff.
