I had to eventually put them in the house because he was not wanting to settle with his cheer leading squad yelling "KILLTHATSOB" nonstop!
If you will look, there is a horse, jackass, chickens, and cats all running loose in the yard.
He got a break this time, but from now on the distractions stay. It is harder to train with them ever present but it sure makes a bomb proof dog when you are finished. I prefer that to introducing them later. I really gave her the break. I really suck at giving instructions, and I just kind of expect her to read my mind. She needs allot of practice in mind reading. I really don't say much until she makes a mistake.
I think people also learn better under distraction. In protection you cannot plan for everything so she must learn a thought process that will keep her safe. A biting dog alone cannot do it.
He already has an explosive on, his off is more of a winding down thing. He must learn to trust hr when she commands him off.
P.S. If you whisper "Out" to a dog, he might be able to hear you, but I can't!
