He is now edgy enough and mad enough for me to move up and "get in his face". Just for shits and giggles we double tied him. He has never been back tied so he was not so sure his first couple of halfassed attempts to get me. He finally quit worrying about being back tied and came at me full steam ahead. His pretty new rolled leather collar snapped in half when he hit the end. He was now over my scratch in the ground that I use as a reminder of how close I can get, so I got out of Dodge. This picture is that moment in time, and I had the pucker factor going on. (notice the second back tie lead now laying on the ground)
This is where I started so she could work on her control. As you can see he was sure that she had lost her mind the first time she gave him the "Okay". He has never been asked to turn off with me so close and acting so strange. He did start to settle for her more readily by the end of the session. Until she can turn him on and off like a light switch, we will not move any further ahead. Still no bite! You can see my scratch in the dirt in the photo.
