I strongly recommend watching "War Dogs Of The Pacific" on the military channel. it is the story of the program of putting dogs with Marines in japan and guam, tracing how the dogs were procured, the training, deployment, and beyond. the bond, that the dogs and handlers develop, as you can imagine, is incredible. it always seems to come back to the bond.
