He is a Standard Poodle (keep up to speed 
) I got for my latest project. He had a rough start in life, and my Bride has convinced me that he just don't like men. He is four and half months old and he might as well be deaf if I tell him to sit or come. (The two commands he knows) Commands he joyfully does if my Bride utters the words. He knows good and well that I am going to drag him to the spot that I called him from and he just does not care. He refuses to listen to my Boy. The second my Bride enters the room, he becomes a different animal. I have had him two weeks and I wanted to take it slow. Slow ain't working! It seems to build his resolve. I looked on the internet to see what the Poodle Experts said about their temperament. They said that they are not one person dogs. I will put a collar and leash on him and see if that helps him. I don't like to put that on a dog until much later, but you gotta do whatever it takes.
Before I wed my Bride, my dogs got extra points for eating cats. All us boys had to adjust. Now we all wear halos.
