I agree with you the shepherds are much softer and simply cannot take the pressure a good bulldog/mollosser can. I should clarify though that once the herder is mentaly mature they handle the pressure much better but still they don't seem to be the same as the bulldogs and mollossers. Of course my experience is novice and their are always exceptions.
