I hate to admit it but so far I really like these DPN pups. They seem to have the pain threshold of a Bulldog. They seem to be able to relax and shut off. Those were my two biggest fears, they might get from the Mal, since they got the Pointy Nose.
My Boy complained that they would not play with him via the water bottle. He sings and plays with the pups every day. His singing will make the hardest dogs! 
We use regular bottled water bottles to start the Bulldog pups early. They will soon learn that the one that gets the best bite wins the empty but sealed bottle. The one that wins puts that tail up between his ears and struts his ass off. My Boy is not accustomed to DPN dogs. I tossed in a piece of mule tape (light rope?) and gave it a wiggle and they attacked it. Now he complains that the pups steal his tied tennis shoes off his feet and won't give them back without a fight.
You just can't make some people happy!
