5th Annual BATTLE of the BULLS

We had a GREAT event & the crowd loved it…….

1st of course I have to Thank my Family for the Continued Support in my Passion & that includes my Extended family & Co-Host Enzo Cullotta along with my other Brother from another Mother & Family Ricardo Hernandez…… I wish we would have made it back in time so your parents could have saw the top of Chicago via birds eye view……. THANKS to ALL our Judges,Helpers & Evaluators also But the Reason this event is a HUGE Success is ONLY because of our Supporters/Competitors & Sponsors……. There links will remain on the page website for future visitors to know & visit there websites…… THANKS……. Competitors in any event who enjoy a great venue & who keep coming out, THANKS…….. Like we say there is always something for EVERY dog of ALL ages & Stages at the BATTLE of the BULLS……….

THANKS to ALL the MidWest K-9, IL. Club Members who Helped out, Decoys & Helpers from other states & those from our back yard THANKS……

Some of my Many Highlights & Awes range from seeing dogs in Working events, Conformation & having fun to seeing the smiles on Children’s & Adults faces hearing how they had a Great time & saying Thanks……. We can not please everyone but the Percentages show the majority had a BLAST! Too each his own & seeing new folks try new events was also great……

In going forward I have learned Saturday that the BATTLE is just too Big of an event to have as many venues on Saturday as we have had in the past, So the Logistics / Amendment we are making for May 7, 8 & 9th, 2010 will be Friday Irondog Testing Evaluating & Working dogs in preparation for the weekends events followed by our Weight Pull Competition that will start at 6pm.
1-Day Multiple Breed Conformation on Saturday (No Rushing & Maybe some entertainment as everyone gets to kick it via VIP) followed by our 6-7pm Weight Pull event……..
Sunday am will kick off at 8am Irondog Style followed by the rest of the Working events including the Protection Tournament, Esquieve, Hard hit, etc. (We will have it posted on the website for all to see & work towards)……. This is the BEST we can do to try and accommodate everyone, even Baskin and Robins having 31 flavors has run out of flavors at one time & even tho I did not get exactly what I wanted I was still enjoying myself….. We TRY & that’s the BEST we can do…….

Chicago will still have a FEW more events 2-MidWest K-9 events alone & The IRONDOG NATIONALS on November 7th & 8 th Location looks to be the Kane County Fairgrounds BUT check back for updates…… We will roll the Protection Scenarios that Joby Mr.Crunchfest prepared for the BATTLE…….

I am out of Breath still but got a chance to see the Poodle prepare for Competition on the field, Jose Lopez Irondog Hard Hit from Barrera’s Carlitos that took Jose down, Sean playing tug of War with Wayne’s pants, that SIK Shorty Bull pound for pound in Drivey Puppy, Joe Egan & Crew with there dedication & of course the Locomotive Loki, I wish I would have seen the Protection Tournament on Sunday Joby, Tilman & Crew Thanks…. BUT there was one Long Hair that stood out above the rest Achilles Vom Kelterhoff Watching that dog Re-Grip in the Hang time event was priceless for me…… Fast & Hits Hard not to mention coming in & taking 2nd in Tug of War helped it win the Irondog Invitational, Simply AWESOME! I hate saying names because I know I have left someone or a few out but at least this time I did not mention the types of Trees, Plants etc….

I could go on & on so I can only imagine what I missed, Including our Dual Sanctioned IDWP/UPF Leg of the triple crown……
