You didn't say where you live, but anywhere you are, you can check around the for training clubs. Ask around, word of mouth is good for finding dog people. Call the vets. They are the ones who will know who has ABs and trains them. They will usually be very helpful. Look in the news paper. Look on the internet for dog stuff in your area. Check the NKC for the things your are interested. They should have info on weight pull, protection and clubs for showing in Conformation in your area. Check with the APA ( I think there is a link to them from from our website). Look for protection tournaments. Check the true-grit board if you think you would like protection work with your dog. There are a lot of people on that board who can give you info. Sorry for not answering your post in a timely manner. I must check this board more often.
