Georgia, I have some news to relay;
November 28 is Super Saturday. We will be having a HQ clean up and repair as well as a Thanksgiving social @ HQ! There is much work to be done to square things away and insure our HQ looks as good as we do! This will be a good time for fellowship as well as fun had by all. There will be prizes, games, and challenges galore!
We are on track to be at growth and only 5 away for October! That will be two months in a row! The tide is turning and this great ship...the USS GAJC is into the wind wide open!
New Orleans June 3-6 2010 is the next National Convention and we should all be there as our state places in the parade of states and the Nation recognizes us again as the great State we are! I hope you can make plans to attend. There is a state on-to project begining in November so be on the look out for information to follow!
Jekyll will be an event to attend.......you can only imagine what Kelly has planned and since I will be there.....you can only guess who will show up this year! It will be unforgettable!
Georgia we are on the brink of a new day and the sunrise is picture perfect! We have our year end board meeting in January and it will be like the board meetings in the early 90's! Be there or miss out! There will be several by-law changes and additions and the unveiling of three new programs to include an on-line the Georgia Jaycee web-store! Remember to make sure your chapter is in good standing so you can have a vote in this most auspicious occasion! Things are happening Georgia and you want to be part of it!
There will be a local Presidents meeting to discuss the future and each chapters involvement in the Georgia Jaycees in January.
Help get the word out to every Jaycee you know. This is the one not to miss!
