Subject: Products for Good / Jaycees Fundraiser
The United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 opportunities to develop personal and leadership skills through service to others. For the past 89 years, Jaycees have been a force for good in America and around the world. This year, the local Jaycees are raising money for the Empty Stocking Fund (which provides needy families with toys and food for Christmas), the annual July 4th fireworks display, the Kids Fishing Rodeo for Swainsboro Primary School , and the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby.
This year, we are doing something really special. We have teamed with The Folds of Honor Foundation (www.foldsofhonor.com), a charity that supports wounded military veterans and their families. In addition to our normal calls for support, this year, we are raising money to support both the Jaycees' charities above and the Folds of Honor mission.
We are asking for your help. We are selling a unique line of patriotic products, fashioned from coins that were obtained by coalition forces from the banks of in Basra, Iraq. The coins were once the property of Saddam Hussein, and are now being used to help our American military and their families in need. This limited edition collection was purchased by a US company that uses mentally and physically disabled Americans to assemble its products...and then gives away a large percentage of the sales proceeds to charities like the Folds of Honor Foundation.
There is something for everyone in this collection, from a single coin at $19.95 to the four coin shadowbox at $149.99. These items make the perfect gift for any patriot or veteran. Please read more about this effort, the products and the story of the coins at (www.productsforgood.com/jaycees1); and make a purchase that will be credited towards our causes and the Folds of Honor Foundation.
Thank you in advance for your support of our selected charities this year as well as your support for our wounded military veterans and their families.
