When Chili decided to throw 3 passes with 6:25 left in the 3rd Qtr after the Pack has just made it 24-13.
I really Snapped. Not because 2 of them were nearly picked but because that WAS the time to feed AD at least twice and perhaps 3 times. ANd if he got first downs you just keep on Feeding him.
Instead only 30 seconds went off the clock and the Packers scored again to make it 24-20 and it was Game on.
Of course, Lombardi's decision to try a FG with 5:43 left was Curious, to choose a Kind Word.
4th and 8 at the 33, you are down by 5, I know there is Time, but isn't it Time to go for it, and let Aaron be a Hero? Get the First Down, go down and take the LEAD, man would the D have been fired up. Going for a 2 point Deficit with a 51 yarder seemed chicken shit to me at that point.
But I have come to realize that Coaching in the NFL is a lot like being the Skip of a MLB Team.
There are times when you have to make decisions, and IF they go your way fine, IF they don't you are 2nd guessed. THere are always going to be decisions like that. If they go your way you are a Genius.
Of course it helps to have Favre as your QB.
