I want to remind everyone that I am putting teams that send me rosters for the year in the class I think they can compete in for next year locally. So yes that means teams with 5 C players or bumps from 2016 or 2017 could be in D. That means teams with no C players can be in C. I am going to move teams up and down accordingly to how they compete. I don't like classing teams for a World tournament that 99 % of my teams don't go too. So if a team is legal for another associations D class why should I make them play C with me all year if I know they aren't going to USSSA World? My main concern is Georgia and how to make softball better in Georgia. If having E teams Nationally playing against loaded D teams during the year to get better to get ready for whatever world they go to they can thank me later. There is no denying the success GA teams have had the last 5 years at Worlds. I hope the teams trust me and give the classes a chance this year. If a few months in to the season we need to adjust and bring back D+ or move 6-8 D teams to C locally then that is what we will do. I have no doubt that Exit 47, K-Pow, and Eagle Paint are going to be on a different level then any of the D teams I have classed. All 3 teams have made significant pickups to compete nationally at the C level and will represent GA well all year. Teams that are wanting to go to USSSA Worlds next year please get with me to make sure your roster is legal for Worlds and build it accordingly. *If you do not send me a roster for approval and is not posted on the site then you are subjected to the outlining rules on the site. No exceptions! So my suggestion is get your roster to me as soon as possible to see where you stand. I am excited about 2019 and looking forward to a great year! Please email/text/call me with any questions or concerns. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thanks Carlton 678-410-1759 cgriffin3423@Hotmail.com
