The BBS is so quiet...good! more space for me to ramble about my life :-)
So, here is the latest update: the house is almost without boxes. Of course this doesn't mean that it is all set up, I still have to hang pictures, pin wires to the walls (which I tried to do yesterday and since they were not sticking I taped them!) and find a space for some trivial yet very homy things like my microbes collection...now, this is strictly connected with the imminent change in my life: mom and dog are arriving. Mom is pretty good with the microbe collection, she doesn't eat them nor play with them ^__^ but Yuki goes nuts for any of my stuffed toys. So, my microbes will end up up up high where she can't reach them (basically on the ceiling considering how tall she is) or in a box :-P
Now the house has been doggie proofed for the most part (the double fencing still has to be put in place but we already have a plan for it, as soon as we see that it's necessary it'll be up in an afternoon), but the neighbors haven't yet. So wish me luck! this week-end will be a lot of driving to pick up mom and dog in LA and from next week chaos will ensue...I'll write again sometime next week if Yuki doesn't eat my pc ;-)
