Yesterday I noticed that Cobra was acting strange. She wouldn't eat and she was walking stiff. I thought she had been poisoned so I rushed her to the vet. She got worse and worse and started convulsing and moaning. The vet told me she had eaten something and it was lodged in her intestine. They gave me an ultimatum, pay $2000 for surgery or put her to sleep. I paid for the surgery even though that's $ I don't have. They removed a 1 inch long piece of corn on the cob. I have no idea where she got that from because I don't eat corn on the cob. She is still in the ER with iv's and stuff hooked to her. She won't be working for a while until she is healed. I have been through hell in the last 24 hours. She came very close to losing her life because had I not found her and she would have stayed in that condition, she would have surely died.
