(Montebello) UPI - Quiet Cannon Happy Hour
BURN THE FLOOR
We burned the floor last night to the gyrating sounds of Joe Midnight Desire. A wise women once told me, "If you invite them - they will come", and that's exactly what happened. 
Rosa and Alfredo, Henry and Maggie, DJ Macos Time, DJ Paul Ultimate Crave, Tony and Roberta, Sandy, Letty, Lydia, Alicia and Rene, Carlos and Disco Eddie of the IE, Benny, along with the Hustlers Gus, George and Patricia to name but a few...were all there to celebrate the sweet joys of life. Why? Just cuz we can.
You see tomorrow is promised to no one, as Sweet-T and I have attended 3 funerals in the last 30 days. So while life showers us with good friends and good music - we will be there to live life to it's fullest. Emilliano Zapata once said " It is better to die standing on my feet, than to continue living on my knees", and we too will all one day join the Spirit in the Sky, but first they will have to find Sweet-T and I, because we will be somewhere between the pit of man's imagination and Twilight Dance Zone's dance floor.
And besides Mr. Miagi once said: " Rude Dawg, never stand in one place too long and never stop dancing...you never know what may hit you in life."
