House Gate: DJs, Impresarios, and Friends
Our second guest curated panel, "House Gate," has been organized by Eddie Zaint, a professional digital designer for over 15 years. Zaint has been a major figure in the over all Los Angeles rave and club scene, designing flyers and websites for LA's top DJs and promoters. He along with the panelist he has assembled, began their early ventures in the South East Los Angeles scene, one of the hot beds for early house and experimental musics in the 1990s.
Tonight's panelist include: Reza, Alexxx, Patrick Smith, Herrick Hell and Alex I all DJs and to some degree promoters of some of the biggest sub-scenes within the overall underground. From the 75,000 massives at the LA Sports Arena to the voice of Latin alternative music on the airwaves, to the star DJ of the Latin Underground of the early to mid 1990s, to boutique style mix masters, this panel is very diverse in experience, and promises to shed light into areas of the LA underground dance culture like never before.
