Yes, those are both good things. The fans seem to already have moved on judging by the people I follow on Twitter. And the news outlets should be moving on as well. I cringed every time they brought up the headlines of the week and it was first on the list. I don't expect it to come up again, other than possibly as a side note when the Best Buy #43 announcement is made official. At least not until court in December, and that is during the off season when the TV news isn't even airing for the most part.
I hope AJ has a good tire test at Daytona and that the next few weeks are at least beneficial as far as learning for next year. I'm not ruling out top 10's or even better in these last three races. But I'm not getting my hopes too high, either. AJ seems to have a black cloud of bad luck following him lately. I simply hope it goes away these last three races so he can end this miserable season on a good note.
