Hi Dave, you may not know me -- I'm Pedi, I used to draw comics for Marvel and Image several years back... anyhow, the reason why I'm contacting you is to inform you that there's a dude that goes by the name of "Josh Hoopes" who's been using your art, my art, along with SPlatt, Benes and others to scam clients and publishers into awarding him projects, where he subs out the work to artists in other countries, and then when he delivers the work to his clients who pay him, he stiffs the artst who created them... he's apparently done this many times over this past year, and there're a bunch of sites, including CBR's "Lying in the Gutters" by Rich Johnston, who have been writing about his scams... here're some links:

Since he's using your work too, maybe you can help catch this prick... he's apparently located in Sacramento, CA, and he has a criminal record...
I have some sort of address and telephone # of his that I received from someone he scammed for $600 by telling them that he was me. If you want this info, email me at ps@pedramshohadai.com and I'll send it to you. Maybe you can also call the PD there and file a complaint... if they get enough complaints, they'll pinch him...
