You asked about traditional NA - The following is the National NA Pledge:
1. Provide a high quality of care to the people in my care
2. Apply high moral and ethical values to daily tasks of care
3. Apply myself to the task at hand and attend to Residents’ Rights
and safety
4. Be an effective team member, support and encourage my peers
5. Demonstrates good work habits and carry out daily tasks of care
in a conscientious manner
6. Display a kind sense-of-humor
7. Seek out new information and training that will enable me to provide
quality care
8. Help others to grow in positive ways
9. Take the initiative to serve on care-planning committees, safety
committee, local, State and National nursing assistant organizations
or related groups
10. Foster my own career growth
As a Career Nursing Assistant, I will work in the best interest of the people
in my care, my peers, my supervisors, my employer, my professional
organization, my career, and myself by upholding these commitments.
