Today, June 12 is the first day of the 31st annual National Nursing Assistants Day - a day to recognize and honor NAs who provide hands on care to residents and clients in nursing homes, home care, hospice, assisted living, hospitals, clinics, idependent living, prisons and many other settings.
"Nursing Assistants" may be known as Nurse Aides, Home Care Aides, Home care workers, Personal support workers, direct care workers, caregivers, Geri Aides, Personal Care Assistants and many other titles.
Congratulations on your very special day and plan to do something very special for yourself during your special Week
