Temperature and CO2 track closely but it is known that temperature increase comes first by something like 1000 years throughout this period. It may be difficult to see this from that particular graph. If you heat sea water it does release CO2 of course. Man-made CO2 is in addition and the paradox is that CO2 levels have gone up over the last decade but not temperature despite what the computer models predicted. So the next sun cycle spot peak is 2011 and this is much less than before (with the conveyor belt mechanism - sunspots disappear and reappear - already slowing down). I would put money on global cooling from 2015.
