Hello Nigel, there is a graph here that captured my interest.

Over a period of about 350,000 years the Vostic ice core data seems to show temperature and CO2 levels tracking very closely. Then almost at the very end CO2 rockets up but temperature remains basically constant. Wierd or what? Also the graph shows that we are due an extended cooling period IMO. Sunspot cycle 24 is still in bed :-)
