Thanks for finding this - it does make the conclusions of the paper easier to understand. Concerning your comment added to the blog I could not find a current Minister Of Science. It used to be Lord (David) Sainsbury under Blair. Gordon Brown did appoint Al Gore as his environmental advisor from Oct 2006 but I don't know if he still is now he is PM.
